Saudi Arabia suggests Russia send 2 sample batches of wheat

MOSCOW, Apr 28 (PRIME) -- Saudi Arabia has suggested Russia send two sample batches of wheat to the country to test preservation of wheat in Saudi Arabia’s climate, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight said in a statement on Saturday following a visit of a delegation from Saudi Arabia.

The delegation visited the Krasnodar Region, the port of Novorossiysk, and a bakery plant in the city of Sochi.

“The representatives of Saudi Arabia suggested preparing and sending to them two sample batches of Russian wheat to test preservation under conditions of Saudi Arabian climate and to hold a second experiment on baking bread together with the Russian side,” the service said.
